Personal Experience
Daniel Lomba serves as Of Counsel to the firm, where he leads our national litigation initiative targeting fraudulent debt consolidation and debt settlement companies, with a particular focus on schemes affecting Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) borrowers and small business owners. In this role, he helps develop legal strategy, investigate deceptive practices, and prosecute claims involving fraud, misrepresentation, unlawful fee structures, and other predatory conduct. His work is centered on holding bad actors accountable and recovering losses for business owners who were misled while already in financial distress.
In addition to his litigation work, Dan brings substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and complex business transactions. He has advised entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, and investors on entity formation, contract negotiation, asset purchases, and operational risk management. His transactional background allows him to approach litigation with a deep understanding of how businesses actually operate — and how financial agreements are structured, marketed, and, at times, abused.
Dan earned his Juris Doctor after completing his undergraduate studies in Sports Management, and earlier in his career founded and operated a sports agency representing professional athletes. This entrepreneurial background continues to shape his practical, results-driven approach to legal representation and client advocacy.
